How to achieve smooth collaboration

How to achieve smooth collaboration

We are experiencing a fundamental shift between work and personal life. Our approach to work is constantly evolving and improving. Flexible and hybrid work models are also redefining where, when and how we do our work; be it in the office, at home, on the train or in a cafe, we can now work anywhere and anytime. This is also a unique opportunity to reimagine work through a hybrid model. If we get this right and design hybrid work arrangements that put employee experience at the heart, it will make our work lives more purposeful, productive and enjoyable.

And while the technology that enables this flexibility has never been more powerful, creating a truly collaborative work environment that allows everyone to participate equally and have the same meeting experience can be challenging. Offices are becoming hubs for collaboration and creativity, and technology must facilitate this. That’s why HP developed and uses HP Managed Collaboration Services (1).

Collaborative Leadership

HP’s goal is to lead the way to the future of work by providing ideal work environments that enable people to thrive in work and life. It’s all part of the HP on HP program, where HP leverages its own innovations and helps improve products and solutions before releasing them to customers. And with the addition of Poly products to its portfolio, HP is making its vision of HP Managed Collaboration Services a reality.

“We knew there was a better way to collaborate,” explains Thadd Koziel, HP vice president of HP programs. “Poly gave us the best way to implement this in our meeting rooms.”

Empowering world-class hybrid collaboration

Whether it’s Poly headsets, video panels, speakerphones or IP desktop phones, there’s a range of collaboration devices to suit any environment. Using their proven Define-Design-Deploy methodology, the HP Professional Services team assessed HP’s key requirements and identified the ideal solution. HP IT was then able to assess the workspace and optimize the meeting room design to make the most of the space. Based on the results of the work style assessment, the room was equipped with optimal standard collaboration environments, as well as a custom collaboration solution using the optimal solution for the room. IT teams then took responsibility for facilities management and 24/7 proactive monitoring and service support.

Delivering exceptional meeting experiences

“One of the great things we’ve built into HP Managed Collaboration Services is real-time support for the HP Workforce Experience Platform (3),” adds Koziel. “We have AI-generated alerts that go directly to our support center. If they hear or see something wrong during a meeting, they can correct it immediately. And on those rare occasions when we do have problems, support is always there to keep the meeting going. “Artificial intelligence is pervasive in almost everything we do. It’s very modern architecture,” explains Koziel. “For example, support agents now receive hints from AI, so when an issue occurs, we can help with visible incidents and potential fixes.”
