Patrick McAvoy’s background includes local and national sports journalism covering baseball, football and basketball. Throughout his career, he covered the Boston Red Sox, St. Louis Cardinals, New York Yankees, New York Mets, Philadelphia Eagles and Boston Celtics.

In addition to journalism, Patrick also earned an MBA from Brandeis University and studied communications and business at Merrimack College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree.
