Building collapse claims ten lives in Jegede Olunloyo area of ​​Ibadan

At least ten people have died after a building collapsed in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State. The incident occurred on Thursday at Jegede Olunloyo area, within the Olorunso axis of Ono Ara Local Government Area.

According to a statement by the Oyo State Fire Service Agency, the agency received a distress call about the collapse at about 2 am.

The statement noted: “10 people were pulled out from under the rubble of the collapsed building, and seven people were rescued alive.

“Rescue efforts continue.”
