Robin Brown sole surviving spouse Kody Brownthree splits, but she can still laugh with his exes about his “scary” expression.

“He really doesn’t look like the happy person he used to be.” Mary Brown said on Sunday, October 27, in the episode of the program wife’s sistersreferring to Cody, 55, whom she officially left in January 2023 after more than 30 years together.

“Cody was always very intense, even when he was just being serious, you know, he has that face,” Janelle, 55, said, wrinkling her nose and furrowing her brow.

Robyn, who has been married to Kody since 2014, understands this expression well.

“I call it his killer face. I hate it,” she admitted, noting, “You can’t use a killer’s face (to) kids and just (say) like, ‘Put on your pajamas.’ I was like, “This is too scary.” Take it up a notch. Raise your eyebrows. Okay (now say): “Put on your pajamas.”

In the episode, Janelle and Meri, 53, also agreed on the absurdity of their ex-husband when it comes to the way he now describes their marriages. (Each woman was spiritually married to Kody for three decades.)

“I’m guilty of marrying people I wasn’t in love with,” Cody said. This statement disagreed with Janelle, who told cameras, “I just think he has amnesia when it comes to the past because you just can’t keep up that kind of pretense for 20 years.”

She explained: “I know what happened. He can say whatever he wants. It’s okay because I don’t care anymore.”

Meri’s take was similar to Kody’s “current theme” about his past relationships and perceived lack of love. “It’s getting to the point where it’s annoying,” she said, adding, “God, Cody, just pull yourself together and be honest.”

Although Kody claimed he was in a loveless union with Meri, Janelle and Christina, 52, he had a good time helping Meri move out of her Arizona home following the end of their marriage.

“It’s interesting to me that Mary and I are now safe enough with each other to joke around,” he said. “There is a burden that has somehow been lifted, at least for now.”

Cody noted that after all the grief, he is ready to move on. “I wore my pain on my sleeve for two or three years. I’m really tired of the pain,” he admitted. “It might be a really good idea to just relax.”

Cody added: “I’ve already experienced the destruction of my family. But who cares? It was dark, but I’ll get through it.”
