Guyana comes to T&T to battle it out for the CWI Super50 crown

– the campaign against Windwards opens tomorrow

The Guyana Harpy Eagles arrived in Trinidad and Tobago yesterday to compete in the Cricket West Indies (CWI) Super50 Regional Championship.

Tomorrow the Guyanese will begin their campaign against the Windward Volcanoes in a day/night match at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy. Guyana, which has had enormous success in the four-day format, has not won a Super50 title since 2005.

The team consists of: Tevin Imlak (captain), Tagenarine Chanderpaul, Matthew Nandu, Kevlon Anderson, Kemol Savory, Kevin Sinclair, Kimo Paul (vice-captain), Ronaldo Alimohamed, Weerasammy Permaul, Isai Thorne, Ashmead Nedd, Niall Smith, Silus Tyndall. and Rampertab Ramnaut.
