LIV Golf Series, Adelaide tournament will attract record crowds

LIV Golf Series, Adelaide tournament will attract record crowds

The countdown is moving towards next year’s highly anticipated LIV Golf Adelaide, where increased capacity will see record crowds at the three-day event.

Previous tournaments have produced memorable moments, including a nail-biting playoff hole last year and a Chase Koepka goal the year before.

But organizers say they are determined to surpass previous successes as they aim to increase attendance.

“Last year we had just over 94,000, we’re going to increase that number by 10 percent,” LIV Australia managing director Nick Haslam said.

The move to next year’s February time slot brings new challenges, notably Adelaide’s scorching heat, prompting organizers to introduce more shade structures and work closely with suppliers to ensure cooling measures are in place.

In addition to the sports, it was announced that Grammy-nominated DJ Dom Dolla will headline Friday’s LIV concert.

Tickets will go on sale on Thursday.
