Former Italy team doctor warns against rushing Bremer back

Juventus are determined to do everything they can to bring back Gleison Bremer after he suffered a long-term injury that could keep him out for the rest of the season.

Before the injury, the Brazilian was in excellent form, which was reflected in the strong results of Juventus.

The Bianconeri are now focused on not missing him for too long and will work with top professionals to get him back to full fitness.

However, they were warned not to rush his recovery and advised to give the defender the opportunity to recover properly to ensure a full and safe return.

Former Italy team doctor Enrico Castellacci spoke to Il Bianconero about the nature of the injury and said:

“Before, people tried to reduce the time, which, in my opinion, was wrong, because it is necessary to respect the physiological time. Full recovery takes a long time. It ranges from a minimum of six months to a maximum of eight or nine months.”

It will be tempting to take shortcuts to bring Bremer back, but we are a professional club and know how bad it can be if it backfires.

We expect everyone involved to be as careful as possible so that when he returns he will be fit for a long time, if not for the rest of his career in Turin.
