Donald Trump will appear on Joe Rogan’s podcast

Former President Donald Trump appears set to be interviewed by podcaster Joe Rogan on Friday in search of male voters.

Trump’s first appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience This was first reported by Politico. A representative for Spotify, which has a multi-year partnership on Rogan’s podcast, did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Trump’s potential appearance.

The Joe Rogan Experience is one of the most popular podcasts, with an audience that is 81 percent male, with more than 50 percent of them under 35 (according to a YouGov survey). The show’s new distribution deal allows for use across multiple podcast platforms as well as YouTube, rather than remaining exclusive to Spotify, as has been the case since 2020.

Kamala Harris’ campaign is also reportedly in talks with Rogan’s production team to have the US vice president appear on the podcaster’s show in Austin, again with the goal of attracting male voters. This follows Harris’ appearance on Alex Cooper’s popular podcast: Call her dadaimed at young female listeners.

In August, Rogan featured Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on his podcast before a third-party candidate dropped out of the race. Back in 2020, Rogan also ran against Bernie Sanders when the Vermont senator was running in the Democratic primary.

The Joe Rogan Experiencewhich launched in 2009, features lengthy interviews with scientists, doctors and other guests including Dave Chappelle, The Rock, Robert Downey Jr., Quentin Tarantino, Miley Cyrus, Snoop Dogg, Jewel, Eddie Izzard, Mike Tyson, Post Malone and Zach Bryan. .

While Joe Rogan’s podcast has proven popular, it has also attracted controversy and some criticism from Spotify. In early 2022, Rogan was criticized for including COVID-19 vaccine misinformation on his show and for previously using the N-word.
