A man was injured when his electric bike crashed into a parked car.

Man injured after ‘crashing his e-bike into a parked car’ in Gorton, N.C. Manchester Evening News understands.

Police cars and ambulances blocked off a house in Hobart Street on Monday evening (October 21) following a collision.

It is understood the man, whose age has not been confirmed by police, was injured after the e-bike he was riding crashed into a parked car.

Witnesses said there was a “heavy police presence” following the incident, with police and ambulances “blocking the road” and sealing off the area.

The road remained closed for about an hour as emergency services worked at the scene. It is known that at that moment there was no one in the parked car.

Further details about the nature of the incident or the injuries sustained by the cyclist have not been confirmed. Greater Manchester Police have been contacted for a statement.
