This month, Honda announces another major recall, this time due to a fire risk.

(AP) – Honda is recalling more than 700,000 vehicles because the high-pressure fuel pump may crack and leak fuel, which could increase the risk of fire.

It’s Honda’s second major call this month after potential steering problems were discovered in 1.7 million vehicles in early October.

The recall includes the 2023-2024 Accord and Accord Hybrid; 2025 Civic and Civic Hybrid and 2023-2025 CR-V Hybrid.

Honda said it had 145 warranty claims from February 2023 to September 2024 and had no reported injuries or deaths related to the issue.

The automaker said dealers will inspect and replace fuel injection pumps as needed and free of charge.

Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on December 4th. Owners can contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138.
