Hamilton’s new Khaki Field titanium watch is (almost) perfect

Hamilton has introduced a limited edition Khaki Field Titanium watch and I think it might be perfect. It is the result of an innovative collaboration with Japanese-American design house Engineered Garments.

If you haven’t heard of Engineered Garments before, they are a fashion brand known for their unique blend of workwear, military aesthetics, and classic Americana. This partnership embodies both brands’ commitment to practicality and craftsmanship.

The Khaki Field Titanium is housed in a compact 36mm case, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of wrist sizes. Designed with functionality in mind, the watch features a lightweight and durable titanium case, ideal for adventure seekers.

The watch comes with a matching titanium bracelet, which I think looks amazing.

Daiki Suzuki, founder of Engineered Garments, insists that material choice is of utmost importance. “For a classic field watch, this size calls for something new but reliable. Therefore, I am a proponent of lightweight and durable titanium. Its slightly darker silver-gray hue, unique to titanium, perfectly complements the rugged street style.”

The minimalist dial improves visibility while avoiding distractions and maintaining the watch’s true purpose as a field companion. Suzuki notes: “The dial design prioritizes visibility with a minimalist approach that eliminates any unnecessary elements. This configuration epitomizes the ideal field watch—both modern and timeless.”

Powered by the robust H-10 automatic movement, the Khaki Field Titanium has an impressive 80-hour power reserve and is equipped with a Nivachron balance spring for increased resistance to magnetic fields and shock.

The case back has a semi-circular window through which you can see the movement, as well as the engravings “Limited Edition” and “1999 Pieces”.

This is literally the perfect watch, however, despite its many advantages, there is one catch. With only 1,999 available – paying homage to the founding year of Engineered Garments – I think it’s a shame this is a limited edition model. I would love to see it added to the regular Hamilton collection.

If you appreciate khaki field titanium, head to the site Hamilton website and grab one for $1,145/£1,070 before it sells out.
