Song: “The Country Woman” by the author Gretchen Wilson

Battle Round 2: Sydney Sterlace vs. Team Gwen’s Sloane Simon

Song: “The Birth of a Pen” by the author Billie Eilish

Winner: Sydney Sterlace

Gwen said: “Sydney and Sloane’s performance was amazing, but I had to choose Sydney. The fact that she’s 15 years old and she cares so much about the lyrics and she’s so dynamic and everything. When she’s on stage it’s amazing and she’s really grown during rehearsals. She listened to me.”

Interception: Sloane Simon: Michael, Snoop and Reba turned to Steele Sloan. Sloan chose Michael.

Michael said: “Sloan has a great voice, angelic, sweet tone, great voice, great control. People will really like it. She’s becoming a pop star.”

Battle Round 3: Kendall Eugene vs. Alison Elena from Team Reba

Song: “Bring the Rain” by Joe Dee Messina & Tim McGraw

Winner: Kendall Eugene

Reba said: “Oh, that was hard. I didn’t know who I would choose until I said, “The winner of this battle goes to…” and I looked up and saw Kendall. He had a lot to prove. “I used my trainer’s snooze button on him and he came to the plate.”

Battle Round 4: Elise Pryor vs. Michaela Aira of Team Snoop

Song: “A Thousand Miles” by the author Vanessa Carlton

Winner: Michaela Ira

Snoop said: “It was heartbreaking to let one of them go, but I just felt like Michaela had a little more room to grow. What I like about Michaela’s voice is how loud it is. She has control, but she doesn’t have complete control. I think I can give her advice on how to become a real vocalist in the music industry.”

Battle Round 5: Ian Dan vs. Team Gwen’s Jaylen Dunham

Song: “Once in my life” by Stevie Wonder

Winner: Yang Dan

Gwen said: “I just had to pick Ian Dan because he’s ready. I’m really excited to be able to tap into his confidence further and give him a little more presence on stage. I don’t think he needs much help with singing. He’s a really good singer.”

Battle Round 6: Morey Ilderton vs. Bublé’s Kiara Vega

Song: “Iris” by Goo Goo Dolls

Winner: Kiara Vega

Michael said: “No solutions are possible. This is not a joke. Honestly, I chose Kiara because of her potential. She has a great voice. She is not like any other girl. I think what the music industry may not know is that they are missing a piece of the puzzle, and that this is it.”

Steal: Maury Ilderton from Gwen

Gwen said, “I just had to steal Maury. I just had this feeling of, “I know what to do with this guy.” What I love most about Mori’s voice is his unique raspy tone. When you hear the music, his voice is reminiscent of what’s going on in the world right now.”
