Fisherman seen walking fish

Fisherman seen walking fish

A fisherman is never bored, even if he is sad.

A Durban man walking along Durban’s infamous Blue Lagoon spotted the most unusual sight and shared it on social media.

The Blue Lagoon, also known to many as “Lags”, is a popular fishing spot and a place that many families frequent on weekends. It’s the perfect meeting place with warm snacks, clothing, toy stalls and plenty of room for the kids to ride their bikes.

The end of the pier is known as a popular spot for fishermen, who gather near the rocks with their fishing rods and wait patiently for a line to be caught.

Last weekend, TikToker Brett shared a video of what he witnessed with his family. It was all a laugh to them when they saw the fisherman dragging his catch along the ground.

Brett then said out loud, “He walks his fish here…” Everyone around him chuckled, and another person spoke to him, calling the “fish” shad. The fish was actually a shark.

But that hasn’t stopped people from commenting, saying Durban residents call all fish “shad”. It was just light-hearted fun and that’s how people took it.
