Check out JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure with these Blu-ray offerings

There’s no shortage of great anime series to watch, but if you’re looking for a wacky action game, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is an easy recommendation. Luckily, several Blu-ray box sets are on sale for Black Friday, so if you’ve been wanting to dive into this cult classic collection, now is the best time to do so.

While not all box sets are on sale, the deals allow you to purchase quite a large collection of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Blu-ray discs. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is adapted from the manga of the same name by Hirohiko Araki. It tells the story of the Joestar family, with each arc focusing on a different member of their extended lineage, and each arc having its own unique themes and tone – from martial arts epics to supernatural murder mysteries and crime thrillers. They’re also filled with fun tributes to musicians and bands, with references to icons like Led Zeppelin, Dolly Parton, Kenny Loggins and more sprinkled throughout the series.

If you want to start from the beginning, you can get a bundle that includes the first two seasons: Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency. Phantom Blood tells the story of Jonathan Joestar and his evil vampire adoptive brother Dio Brando, and in its sequel, Jonathan’s descendant, Joseph Joestar, battles the seemingly invincible werewolves known as the Pillar Men.
