All spikes, none of the upsets in the Bills’ 31-10 blowout victory over the Seahawks.

Rainy weather in Seattle failed to slow down the Buffalo Bills’ hot run to start the 2024 season, as the Bills left Lumen Field with a convincing 31-10 win over the Seahawks on Sunday.

This game featured multiple players as Josh Allen continued to prove why he should be in the MVP race, throwing for 283 yards and two touchdowns. His playmakers in attack ranged from James Cook to Khalil Shakir. The defense was equally stellar, holding Seattle to just 32 yards in the win.

Aside from 13 penalties for 85 yards, the Bills did everything they could to continue their big lead in the AFC East. So here are the highlights from the Bills’ win over Seattle.

Third-year running back James Cook has gotten better and better every game as he once again showed off his elusiveness and forced defenders to miss. He finished with 111 yards and two touchdowns. Cook also caught all three of his targets for 22 yards. What makes this Bills offense special is the spread of the ball in the passing game and Cook’s ability to score it on the ground; This is a strategy they will use for the rest of the season, and Sunday showed it can be done.

Newly acquired Amari Cooper received significant attention from the media and fans, but Khalil Shakir and Keon Coleman made everyone forget about him for a day. Coleman impressed with several strong catches, and his first-quarter touchdown was one of the game’s highlights as he caught a fadeaway with one hand. He finished with five catches for 70 yards and a score. Shakir was the game’s leading receiver with nine receptions for 107 yards and a 35-yard completion. Once Cooper is fully comfortable in the offense, watch for these three to become one of the best receiving trios in the NFL.
