Tauranga Eastern Link Toll Road lane closed overnight

The State Highway 2 (SH2) Tauranga Eastern Link (TELTR) toll road closure is required in one direction for 3 nights starting Monday 4 November from 8pm to 6am.

To ensure the safety of contractors and commuters, the closure requires the removal of temporary steel barriers and repairs to the road surface.

What to expect:

  • Monday 4 November – SH2 TELTR westbound lane closed 8pm to 6am with diversion starting at Domain Road junction, connecting to Te Puke Highway, via Te Puke to SH2/SH33 Paengaroa roundabout.
  • Tuesday 5 November – SH2 TELTR eastbound lane closed from 8pm to 6am with diversion route starting at SH2/SH33 Paengaroa roundabout connecting to Te Puke Highway, via Te Puke to Domain roundabout -Road.
  • Wednesday, November 6 is a reserve day that may be required if work is not completed on any lanes.

Outside of closing times, the current temporary traffic regime remains in place: one lane is open in each direction and the speed is temporarily limited to 70 km/h.
