Opel reveals details and prices of the new Grandland SUV, which will be released next month

The new Opel Grandland SUV will cost from €40,995.

Opel has announced details of the specifications, range and pricing of its new Grandland SUV, due to arrive next month.

There will be battery-electric, plug-in electric hybrid and 48-volt hybrid technologies.

The new SUV with a striking design will cost from 40,995 euros.

The hybrid powertrain includes a 1.2-liter turbocharged gasoline engine (136 hp), as well as an electric motor producing 28 hp. and a six-speed dual-clutch transmission.

It will soon be followed by an electric version with a capacity of 73 kWh (range 523 km), and then 82 kWh (range 582 km).

Next year there will be a battery with a capacity of 97 kWh (power reserve up to 700 km).

The new SUV is longer and wider than its predecessor and has larger wheels. Opel claims there is 20mm more rear legroom, up to 1,645 liters of boot space and up to 36 liters of interior storage space.

There’s a 10- or 16-inch central multimedia display and several buttons for frequently used settings such as climate control.
