New photo of Mikal Bridges looks even worse next to Jayson Tatum

NBA fans celebrate the start of the season by watching the Boston Celtics begin their title defense against the New York Knicks on primetime television. Fans with no other games to watch can clearly see two key players going through the motions as the first game of the season begins.

Mikel Bridges, who also struggled defensively, was held scoreless in the first half, going 0-for-5 from the field in 18 minutes of play.

Bridges, who shot 43 percent from the floor and 37 percent from three last season for the Nets, made his regular-season debut with an incredibly awkward shot. He extends his arms too far as the wing moves to fire. By comparison, his throw last season was much smoother, with the striker not waiting half a second to launch it.

These struggles likely come as no surprise to the Knicks faithful, as the former Sun struggled to shoot in the preseason, going 2-for-19 on threes.

While Bridges’ shot form may need some work, it’s clear that Jayson Tatum’s jump movement looks very good.

The former Olympic athlete scored 25 points at halftime on a solid 75 percent shooting in the first half. This shape looks extremely smooth and the entire frame movement looks very fast.

As fans rejoice in the return of basketball, it’s clear that fans are discussing both players’ new jumpers for different reasons.

Jayson Tatum, who is looking to lead the Celtics to another title this season, is certainly getting some love right now as the entire community is commenting positively on the veteran’s first-half play.

While Tatum’s shot has been noted online as being extremely clean, it’s clear that NBA fans don’t like Bridges’ shot and the entire community is criticizing him for this poor shot form.

Look, at the end of the day Bridges has plenty of time to fix his jumper. However, fans should be concerned about Bridges’ early-season offense and wonder why the former Netto has changed his form this offseason.
