Dothan native to appear on ‘Wheel of Fortune’

DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) – Another Wiregrass native is ready to play “The American Game” as Coreta Myrick takes the contestant’s podium on the “Wheel of Fortune” special this week of Happy Halloween.

Myrick, a Dothan native, is the second person with local roots to appear on the popular game show, with Henry County native Alexis Stovall appearing on the show back in February. Enterprise native Victoria Boyle Sprinkle also appeared on the show back in June 2023, making Myrick the third person with Wiregrass roots to appear before the Wheel in the last 16 months.

In addition to joining a short list of locals who have recently appeared on the game show, Myrick will become the first person from our region to compete on Wheel of Fortune since longtime talk show host and American Idol host Ryan Seacrest took over the reins from Pat. Sajak, who last appeared on “The Wheel” as a host on June 7 after bringing “America’s Game” to the airwaves for more than 40 years.

You can catch Myrick appearing on the next episode of Wheel of Fortune on Tuesday, October 22 at 6:30 pm on WTVY (CBS).
