Council announces Mayor’s Christmas card competition

WELLINGTON City Council has announced the launch of the mayor’s first children’s Christmas card competition.

The council is inviting children under 12 years of age to enter a competition to design the Mayor of Wellington’s official Christmas card for 2024.

Each year, the Mayor of Wellington sends out up to 100 Christmas cards to important people in the local community, other mayors and dignitaries from across the region.

This year, local children will have the chance to see their own unique design featured on a card sent out across the county by the Mayor this festive period.
