Hamilton UK & Ireland Tour Company is looking for a positive and hard-working individual to join its current touring production as Deputy Company Manager.

The Deputy Company Manager works alongside the Company Manager and is responsible for the day-to-day management of Hamilton’s touring production, as well as being the primary point of contact for the company and production team.

  • Significant previous experience in a similar role or in a professional theater environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • We work closely with the company manager to support him and his role on a daily basis.
  • Replace the head of the company during performances, weekends, holidays and sick leave, taking on all related responsibilities.
  • Build strong relationships between all departments by taking an active role in the well-being and morale of the company and its overall construction.
  • Promote manufacturing core values ​​to create a positive work environment.
  • Assist in developing weekly schedules with the resident team and assign them accordingly.
  • Help compile and distribute daily show coverage (what covers are being performed).
  • Monitor, prepare and distribute weekly payroll as required.
  • Assist in managing leave requests.
  • Book and organize ticket requests for companies, actors and creatives.
  • Assist in organizing promotional events such as advertising and photography calls, press and media interviews where required.
  • Help the wig department organize haircuts for the actors every two weeks.
  • Assistance in organizing corporate corporate events.
  • Accurately utilize the current petty cash system.
  • Learn at least one story on stage management so that the show can be covered as needed.
  • Monitor compliance with working hours in all departments.
  • Have a clear understanding of the manufacturer’s health and safety policies.
  • If applicable, complete training as a Mental Health First Aider.
  • If necessary, take appropriate refresher courses from time to time.
SPECIAL DUTIES OF THE TOUR:
  • Assistance in organizing and controlling the logistics of moving products from one site to another.
  • Coordinate travel, accommodation and transportation arrangements for a travel company as needed.
  • Gather useful local information for the company at each tour location.
  • Control and reporting of travel expenses.
  • Resolve any problems or emergencies that may arise during the tour by working closely with the company manager and relevant personnel to find appropriate solutions.
