Najee Harris: Outlook for Rest of Season (2024)

Najee Harris

TO Andrew Erickson (FantasyPros), Mon Oct 21, 2024 05:35 PM ET

Najee Harris carried the ball 21 times for 102 yards at an average of 4.9 yards per carry, including a long run of 34 yards, and scored 1 touchdown. Received 8 red zone rush attempts and scored 1 touchdown.
Jaylen Warren rushed 12 times for 44 yards, averaging 3.7 yards per carry. Harris outshot Warren eight to four in the first half. Warren received 3 attempts and 1 red zone score but did not score. He led the Steelers in backfield rushing percentage (51%), ahead of Harris (49%).
Last week I talked about how slow Najee has traditionally been, so I’d like to think this is a sign of something to come in the future. However, the last two games stand out in stark contrast to his work this season. The games against the Raiders and Jets were extremely weak.
I think I would use this opportunity to sell Harris at a high price. The schedule gets much tougher in the second half of the season as all six AFC North games are played. Warren is getting better, which could cause problems for Harrs in the second half of the season.
The Steelers will face New York before their bye week. After that they will play @WAS, @BAL, @CLE, @CIN, vs CLE, @PHI, @BAL and vs KC.
