The complex card structure was torn down after the State Fair of Texas closed.

As the State Fair of Texas came to an end, the fair showcased the botched demolition of intricate card structures built by Brian Berg, who uses more than 2,000 decks of cards without any glue. Inspired by his grandfather, Berg began building houses of cards and eventually set the Guinness World Record for the tallest house of cards in 1992. His notable designs include replicas of the UT Tower, Cotton Bowl and Texas State House.
