Israeli soldiers shot and killed a Palestinian child in Nablus |

On Monday evening, Israeli soldiers shot and killed a Palestinian child in the village of Madama, south of Nablus in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said soldiers shot a 15-year-old child in the thigh with a live round.

The PRCS said its medics treated the injured child before taking him to hospital in Nablus.

Madama’s mayor, Abdullah Ziyada, said that during the ensuing protests, military jeeps entered the village, blocked streets and fired live ammunition, rubber-coated steel bullets and gas bombs.

Ziyada added that soldiers detained, assaulted and interrogated many young people, checking their identity cards.

In related news: Israeli forces shot and critically wounded a Palestinian youth Monday afternoon after invading the Bab al-Zawiya neighborhood in the central city of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank.

The soldiers also shot dead two young Palestinians and abducted eight citizens in the village of Deir Abu Mashal, northwest of Ramallah in the central West Bank, and abducted three more in various towns and villages in the central West Bank province. Ramallah and Al-Beera.

Early on Monday morning, Israeli occupation soldiers carried out large-scale incursions and brutal searches in many neighborhoods in Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorates.

At dawn on Monday, Israeli soldiers abducted six Palestinians, including two children, from their homes in Bethlehem province, south of occupied Jerusalem in the West Bank.
