9 Highland County athletes named to District 14 volleyball teams

The District 14 Volleyball Coaches Association released its all-district roster this week, with nine Highland County volleyball players being honored this fall.

Highland County’s leader was Fairfield senior Joby Hattan, who was selected to the division. VI/VII first team.

On the second team, Hillsboro senior Samantha Tipton earned Division honors. III/IV, while Fairfield senior Kelsey Clark and Lynchburg-Clay junior Jocelyn Rockey were recognized in the division. VI/VII.

Hillsboro sophomore Tylee Davis and McClain senior Kaylea Toney received honorable mention in Division III/IV. For Div. VI/VII, Mackenzie Anderson of Fairfield, Lynchburg-Clay sophomore Kylie O’Connor and Kylie Hamm of Whiteoak all received honorable mention.
