Euclid believes special taxing district will pay for park-to-park trail

Euclid, Ohio — The Euclid City Council will consider creating a special taxing district along Euclid Avenue to pay for a multi-use trail and other improvements along the corridor.

Mayor Kirsten Holzheimer Gale will present the legislation to the council at its meeting on Monday. The move will help pay for the construction of an off-road trail that will connect the Euclid Creek Reservation in the Cleveland Metroparks to Euclid-Hero Park on East 222nd Street.
