(Entertainment) “Black and White Chef” Jung Ji Sung said, “I don’t accept my resume just because I’m a woman. I got the job thanks to Yeo Kyung Rae.”

Jung Ji Sung, former “black and white chef”, thanked chef Yeo Kyung Rae.

Today at 20:10 (4th), Channel A will air “Best Documentary – Table for Four” featuring Jeong Jisung, China’s first female celebrity chef.

Jung Ji Sung, who recently became a hot topic when she made it to the top eight of ‘Black and White Chef’, prepares a special table to thank her best friend who helped her through difficult times. Chef Yeo Kyung Rae, comedian Jung Joon Ha and singer Byul, who were invited on the day, marveled at the 1,000 bottles of alcohol that Jung Ji Sung had collected over seven years and filled his cupboard.

In particular, he is said to have been surprised to see a twelve-year-old jade wine worth 3.5 million won with Jung Ji Sung and her husband’s ribbon carved on it. Jung Ji Soon serves a Chinese table including the popular dim sum with shrimp and mara cream, as well as a limited edition precious liqueur of which only 3,000 bottles were made for her best friends.

Chung recalls his first meeting with Master Yeo Kyung-rae, recalling his journey to learn Chinese cuisine in 2005. As a Korean, Yeo Kyung Rae said that she noticed Jung Ji Sung who came to mainland China to learn how to cook, and that she predicted Jung Ji Sung’s future to grow up as a “first-in-class Chinese food product.”

Jung Ji Sung said, “I returned after studying abroad for three years, but I didn’t even have my resume accepted because there weren’t many female chefs in the industry.” However, he expressed his gratitude by saying, “I was able to get the job thanks to Chef Yeo Kyung Rae’s recommendation.”

Even after she got the job, Jung Ji Sung admits that she was discriminated against by the territorial tax because she was a woman. In the midst of concerns about being fired, he returned a month later, despite a serious injury that saw his finger go into a cotton machine and pierce 30 needles, and there were times when he hid his pregnancy. Yeo Kyung Rae adds that there was a time when she was not allowed to wear glasses because “if you wear glasses, your behavior will be awkward.”

In May, Jun Ji Sung, who also shared the sad story of miscarrying her second child ten years later, blamed herself as she recalled a situation at the time when she was so busy that she had to work again a day after the operation.

“I couldn’t grieve properly because my family was heartbroken,” he said, confessing what he couldn’t say. She then expressed her gratitude, saying that the only person she could talk about was the star, and that she received great consolation at that time.
