Police attend a serious incident in Glen Eden, west Auckland.

Armed police arrived at the scene in the west Auckland suburb of Glen Eden overnight.

Police were called just after 11pm on Sunday.

The New Zealand Herald reported that a photographer at the scene said part of Brandon Road between Glenorchy Road and Glucina Pl was closed and officers stood guard.

RNZ has contacted police for comment.
