Will there be a cast change in Emily in Paris season 5?

“The sexy chef was a big part of me in the first season, and season after season we drift apart because of the choices he makes and the direction they force him to follow. I’ve never been so far from him,” Bravo shared with IndieWire.

He expressed concern about how Gabriel had changed, telling the publication: “In the first season, there was a lot of me in him. But because they made him seem to be unaware of his surroundings, always sacrificing, and completely lost in translation, I became uninterested in directing or seeing the character I love so much slowly turn into guacamole. I really distanced myself from him.”

Bravo also mentioned that he tried to share his thoughts and opinions on set, but feels limited by the script, which could play a crucial role in his future on the Lily Collins-led drama.

“It makes me wonder if I want to be in season five (…) because my contract ends in season four,” he added. “I really want to see if Gabriel returns to his fun, cheeky, playful and vivacious self. Because playing melancholy, sad, depressed and lost for three seasons is no longer fun. It’s a comedy, and everyone around me is having fun, and I’m slowly sinking into who knows what.”
