Outages are occurring in the Tulsa area, reporting debris and avoiding downed power lines is strongly encouraged

The city of Tulsa is assessing storm damage overnight.

According to the City of Tulsa, people are urged to stay off the roads and not go outside unless necessary.

If you encounter downed power lines or scattered debris, do not drive over or touch them.

Road flooding is expected.

Additionally, residents and businesses in the Tulsa area experienced power outages following the storm.

Rogers County reported that 1,798 of 30,704 meters monitored (5.86 percent) were without power.

Wagoner County is also experiencing significant power outages.

In Wagoner County, 2,522 of 37,549 track meters (6.72%) are without power.
