Kai Chenat was banned from Twitch at subathon… for 6 minutes

Just over a day into his 30-day Twitch subathon, streamer Kai Chenath received a surprisingly unique ban after his stream was cut short.

At the start of the second day of his Mafiathon 2 broadcast, which Kai plans to broadcast 24/7 throughout November, his plans were delayed because someone called the SWAT team.

Getting hit is a fairly common and dangerous thing that sometimes happens to content creators, especially those who broadcast live, because the people who call them can then watch the results. And for Kai, one of the biggest streamers in the world, it happened live on a Twitch stream that averaged more than 136,391 viewers, according to the data. TwitchTracker.

Just a few hours after Kai and his team reached 130,000 subscribers, they were forced to put their plans on hold as before. reported a helicopter in the air above the house and everyone was required to leave when an armed SWAT team entered and began checking. And while this was happening, Twitch banned Kai’s channel, cutting off the stream and leaving viewers in the dark… for just a few minutes.

Jump further Instagram liveKai explained that he was just as confused as his viewers, as he hadn’t done anything that would get him banned, and that he wasn’t sure what would happen to Mafiaton once the SWAT team finished reviewing him “big, like a shitty house.

Following the ban, Kai’s Twitch channel reported that he was “temporarily unavailable due to a violation of Twitch’s community guidelines or terms of service.” No specific information was provided, but it was likely suppressed due to the ongoing swatting as the broadcast was still on air while officers were canvassing the house. However, the ban did not last long as Kai’s channel was unbanned in six minutes and 35 seconds. He went live again as soon as the officers left the house and immediately surpassed 140,000 subscribers before speaking out about the situation.

According to Kaiwhoever called the police told them that someone in the house shot their brother and then himself, noting that the situation was even worse because the house he was broadcasting Mafiaton 2 from was right next door searched during the Sean “Diddy” Combs investigation.

Kai’s Mafiathon 2 will be streamed 24/7 throughout the month of November, with 20 percent of all revenue generated from the stream being donated to help build schools in Nigeria.
