Cincinnati Northern Kentucky Week 11 High School Football Results

While Northern Kentucky teams have another week in the regular season, the postseason continues for Ohio and Indiana schools.

Lawrenceburg and East Central’s postseason continues in Indiana, while 35 postseason games in Ohio will feature local teams.

When those games start and the teams take the field, here’s where you’ll find all the live score updates, breaking news, videos and more from high school football games in Greater Cincinnati.

The Lakota West defense allowed just 20 yards against the Walnut Hills Eagles, including -13 total against the rushing column. Half of Lakota West’s 10 wins have come in shutouts.

The four Firebirds combined to go 5-6 passing for 66 yards and a touchdown. Lakota West had a team-high 277 yards, led by Jackson Smith with 63 yards and closely followed by Kenyon Norman with 61 yards. Both scored touchdowns.

In the No. 8 vs. No. 9 Region 4 matchup, Lakota East pulled away in the second half after a tight start against West Clermont. The teams traded scores throughout the first half, with the Thunderhawks leading 28-21 at the break. Early in the third quarter, Ryder Hooks scored his fourth touchdown of the night before Zion Neal scored on a fourth-quarter pass for a 42–21 lead. Wolves added five minutes to cut the lead to 14 points but were unable to score another score.

The Thunderhawks totaled 528 yards of offense, led by Hooks’ 272 yards. Hooks’ 272 yards and four touchdowns are career highs for a junior running back. Kitna was 14-23 for 201 yards and a pair of scores.

Bo Rickman completed 3-11 passing for 95 yards for the Wolves and threw two touchdown passes to Alexander Hauck, who also threw a touchdown pass. Rickman rushed for 113 yards and a 71-yard touchdown to end the first quarter.

Newport finished the regular season with a 37-0 win over Holy Crest, ending the regular season with two straight shutouts and three overall.

Quarterback Kyle Lee was 15-21 for the Wildcats for 226 yards and four touchdowns to four different receivers. Aiden Satchell, who had a team-high 43 yards, also scored on the ground.

Newport had 55 yards of total offense, 35 rushing and 20 passing.

Campbell County made a great final drive in the second half, but the Covington Catholic Colonels built a 42-0 lead early in the first half and ran the clock down.

Covington Catholic quarterback Cash Harney was 4-6 passing for 97 yards and two scores, but also rushed twice for 103 yards and two touchdowns on a super-efficient night. Dylan Gaiser rushed six times for 89 yards. Oliver Link caught two passes, both for touchdowns.

The Camels scored four times in the second half, including three touchdown passes by Lucas Antrop.

Clinton-Massey, ranked No. 1 in Region 16, jumped out to a 41-0 lead and held Roger Bacon to just over 100 yards rushing for the Falcons’ eighth straight win.

The Falcons totaled 314 yards on the ground, with five players gaining at least 32 yards. Peyton Warren led the way with 69 yards and two scores, and Cooper Carmack followed with 65 yards and a team-high 9.3 yards per carry.

With the score 41-0, Roger Bacon got on the board early in the fourth quarter when Landen Murphy completed a 37-yard pass to Bubba Smart after Roger Bacon forced a Clinton-Massie fumble. Smart finished his season 5-12 for 75 yards and an interception while rushing for a team-high 13 yards.

Elder running back Joey Thamann scored three times while the Panther defense allowed only a field goal as Elder swept Mason to advance to the second round of the postseason. Thamann gained 181 yards on 20 3-point attempts, including 56 yards in the third quarter. Quarterback Kayden Estep was 12-18 for 165 yards, a touchdown to Christopher Puff and an interception. Each of Elder’s scoring drives was at least 80 yards.

Mason got on the scoreboard just before halftime on Max Gogul’s 26-yard field goal. The Comets were set for an interception with 3:03 left in the half, but could only gain 26 yards while eating 2:39 off the clock.

Mason quarterback Ashton Sheaf was just 7-15 passing for 47 yards and an interception, rushing for 62 yards on the ground. Josiah Killins intercepted Mason’s message.
