Josh Mulligan: “Results will come if Dundee eliminate minor mistakes”

Dundee midfielder Josh Mulligan insists results will come if they continue to play the way they have been playing and eliminate the “little mistakes”.

Tony Docherty’s side travel to Kilmarnock on Sunday hoping to improve on their recent record of just one win in their last eight league games.

Mulligan said: “I think if the results go our way and we win on Sunday we’ll be back in the top six, so it’s a bit crazy this season.”

“I would say it’s just small mistakes (that are hindering us), but it’s something that’s easy to fix.

“I think the performances were good, so we just need to keep playing well, keep performing like that and the results will come.”

Mulligan, 21, was part of Dundee’s youthful-looking midfield against Celtic at Parkhead in midweek, which also included Lyall Cameron (22) and Finlay Robertson (21).

“(The staff) trust us and we should try to repay that,” he added.
