Statement from Detroit Bridgerton Ball Organizer: ‘I’m So Sorry’

The infamous “Bridgerton Ball” in Detroit has caught the attention of many online, going viral for all the wrong reasons.

Now, for the first time since the infamous event, organizer Chelsea Beard has broken her silence on what went wrong.

According to participants, the Detroit Bridgerton Themed Ball, held on September 22, was a complete failure. And the consequences have drawn national attention. Some say event planning company Uncle & Me LLC had problems long before this particular event.

“It literally spread all over the world. I had never seen anything like this and it was something I had to deal with,” Beard told FOX 2. “After about five days, I literally didn’t eat anything and I just isolated myself.”

Beard recently released a statement apologizing for the incident.

In her interview with FOX 2, Bird said some of the decisions were victims of miscommunication.

“Courtney is a professional dancer. She is an acrobat, a trapeze artist. I had someone from my camp contact her to find out what she needed to do that evening,” Beard explained. “So, there was a misunderstanding on our part. It’s not her fault.”

Beard said a big challenge was the last-minute change of venue due to a lack of space.

“I basically went from a place where I had everything and we had everything planned out to a place where there was nothing,” she said. “If I could go back to it, I would push it further or cancel it.”

She told FOX 2 she can’t talk about anything related to money or sellers because it’s all related to legal proceedings, but she understands people want answers to what happened behind the scenes.

“We will be giving out the gifts we were supposed to receive at the ball,” she said. “This will provide an opportunity to talk to them personally.”

Ultimately, her goal is to restore their relationships with clients.

“We want to sincerely apologize for not delivering on our promise at this event,” Beard wrote. “We know how much we waited and I sincerely regret that it did not live up to our guests’ expectations. It was never my intention to create this type of experience and I deeply regret any harm this caused our customers. We appreciate the time and effort you put into participating and want you to know how much we appreciate your support.

“To move forward, we are planning a town hall meeting where you can come and collect the gifts you were supposed to receive at the ball. More importantly, we want to create a space for open dialogue so we can discuss how we can improve the situation. move forward. It is very important for me to restore our relationship. We will also organize another ball. We will be glad if you take part for free.

“Thank you for your understanding and patience while we work through this together. Your support means a lot and I intend to make things right.”
