Dorit Kemsley spoke about her son’s health and reunited with PC for Halloween

Dorit Kemsley had a lot to celebrate this Halloween after her and her ex-husband Paul “PK” Kemsleymy son overcame another health problem.

“The last month has been very difficult for our family,” Dorit, 48, said via Instagram on Friday, November 1. “Jagger had two surgeries in less than a week for a septic hip and had to stay in hospital for almost two weeks.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills the star revealed that “just when we thought it was all over, we had a setback this week.”

The 10-year-old boy was able to recover enough to go on a pampering session with his sister, 8-year-old Phoenix, and both parents, despite their separation.

“Thankfully, this incredibly brave and courageous little boy is a fighter (like Rocky, as he said 💪🏼☺️) and we were able to enjoy Halloween the way he desperately wanted,” Dorit shared. “It made this Halloween special for all of us. 🙏🏼🎃.”

In early October, PC announced that Jagger had been hospitalized due to an undisclosed health problem.

“Our little boy Jagger has been unwell for the past few weeks. Mom and Dad were with him at the wonderful @cedarssinai and we wanted to publicly thank them, as well as the doctors and nurses,” the 57-year-old wrote on Instagram in October. 15. “We’re still here, but he’s on the mend. … He’s our Rocky.”

On Friday, Dorit thanked doctors at Cedars Sinai in California for helping Jagger feel better.

“I am thrilled and so proud of our little munchkin and his strength, positive thinking and performance that he has maintained through everything he has been through,” the designer continued. “I feel happy and hope there are better days ahead.”

Dorit also shared several group photos from Halloween, which showed the family dressed up as the Flintstones. “Yabadaba-doo from The Flintstones! ☀️🤍,” she captioned the photo.

The reality star channeled her inner Wilma Flintstone in a red wig, white dress and bone necklace. Dorit’s ex-husband donned a black wig and orange dotted suit with a blue necklace to match the iconic TV look of Fred Flintstone.

Jagger, dressed as Bamm-Bamm Rubble, flexed his muscles in the photos, wearing shorts matching his father’s suit and suspenders with a bone at the bottom. Meanwhile, Phoenix performed under the name Pebbles Flintstone. She wore an orange dress with a tulle skirt and hair with a bone.

Jagger’s health scare and Halloween family reunion come five months after Dorit and PK announced their split.

“As a couple, we have been the subject of a lot of speculation about our marriage. We’ve had our share of challenges over the past few years and we continue to overcome them as two people who love each other and have two wonderful children,” the couple wrote on Instagram in May. “In order to maintain our deep friendship and maintain a harmonious environment for our children, we have made the mutual and difficult decision to take some time off and re-evaluate our relationship, prioritizing our children.”

Dorit, who married PC in March 2015 after four years of dating, spoke about their split later that month. “It happens,” she wrote on Instagram after a fan asked why they weren’t “stronger than ever” as previously advertised. Dorit then explained that “it’s called life” and the couple took things “day by day.”

While the estranged spouses live their new lives, in September P.K. reported that he had been sober for nine months. “This is so powerful and inspiring,” he wrote on Instagram, telling his followers he felt and looked “better.”
