Georgia, Texas and Tennessee switched major divisions

Is Georgia back at the top of the SEC? We’ve seen this movie, right? It’s just that this time the sequel has a new villain – Texas, not Alabama. Bevo was pushed back for the first time this season, and the Bulldogs reclaimed the top of the power rankings. Then there’s a cluster of one-loss teams and everyone thinks, “We’re in the playoffs,” even though about half of them won’t make it.

What you need to know: Texas fans littered the field with trash over a controversial call, were reprimanded by Steve Sarkisian, were disciplined by Georgia and found themselves not rooting for the best team in the country. Tough night for the Longhorns.
