MARINETTE, Wis. (WLUC) – A 27-year-old man was sentenced to eight years in prison and five years of extended supervision for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

Brady Peters was found guilty after pleading guilty to one count of possession with intent to deliver drugs as a second and subsequent offender stemming from a traffic stop on March 19, 2021.

During the traffic stop, deputies found 67.3 grams of fentanyl, 167.3 grams of heroin and 25.7 grams of cocaine, according to the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office. During the criminal case, Peters failed to appear in court and was on the run for one year and seven months, resulting in the forfeiture of his $50,000 cash bond.
