CNN’s Jake Tapper Nukes RFK Jr.’s Medical Hack

CNN Jake Tapper took aim at Robert F. Kennedy Jr. public health track record this week, calling some of its past statements “hack” and “grossly inaccurate.”

“We also heard former President Trump make this promise to the American people while talking about Robert Kennedy Jr.,” Tapper began Wednesday night before playing a clip from a recent Trump rally:

“I’ll let him go crazy for health reasons. I’ll let him go crazy with food. I’ll let him go crazy on the meds.”

“So this is Donald Trump assigning the role to Robert Kennedy Jr. If he wins, Donald Trump will get a second term. RFK Jr. appears to have confirmed what the former president said earlier this week,” Tapper noted, before playing an excerpt from Kennedy’s speech:

President Trump promised me that it would be control of public health agencies such as HHS and its divisions, CDC, FDA, NIH and several others, as well as the USDA, which, as you know, is the key to a healthy America.

“As a reminder, RFK Jr. does not have a medical license and makes completely inaccurate statements about all types of medications, including childhood vaccines. And frankly, that’s exactly what he said. That’s kind of a crazy comment about the coronavirus,” Tapper added, before playing another clip of Kenny from July 2023:

In fact, Covid-19, there is an argument that it is targeting Covid-19 along ethnic lines, that certain races, disproportionately Covid-19, are targeting Caucasians and black people. The most unreceptive are Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese.

“I mean, there aren’t even words to describe hacking, which is completely inaccurate. A lot of Chinese, a lot of Ashkenazi Jews have died because of the coronavirus. Real medical professionals are sounding the alarm about RFK Jr. playing any role in healthcare in this country,” Tapper concluded.

Kennedy has a long history of making wild claims, including that chemicals in water are turning children into transgender people, Russia was using Wi-Fi radiation as a cancer-causing weapon, and that the US was working to develop an “ethnic bioweapon.”
