Channing Tatum and Zoe Kravitz have called off their engagement, but the door to their relationship may not be completely closed just yet.

The exes plan to begin filming their upcoming project Alpha Gang in spring 2025, and an insider told Us Weekly on Thursday that this could reignite the spark between them.

“Cinema is their passion, so it could bring them back together,” a source close to Tatum suggested.

Regardless of the status of their relationship, the insider insisted that working in such close proximity shouldn’t be a problem for the couple.

“They feel great on set and will be able to get through it,” they said. “They are both very professional and there is no bad blood between them.”

Reps for Kravitz and Tatum did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

Kravitz, 35, and Tatum, 44, reportedly split over the weekend — almost exactly a year after the She’s the Man actor popped the question.

The couple met in 2021 while working together on Kravitz’s directorial debut, Blink Twice, which was released in August.

“(Kravitz) and Channing are opposites, but they’ve always had a love for art and film, and that’s what they had in common,” an insider told Us Weekly Wednesday.

However, “once the project ended, they realized they were on different pages of what they wanted.”

“After the press tour ended, things quickly fizzled out,” the insider said, noting that wedding planning had put “a lot of pressure” on them.

Before her affair with Tatum, the Batman actress was married to Karl Glusman. However, the couple separated in 2021 after less than two years of marriage.

The source noted that Kravitz is “very independent” and “stated that she doesn’t necessarily have to get married again” following her split from Glusman.

Although her views changed after meeting Tatum, the actress’s main focus remained on “her career” while Tatum had other priorities.

According to Us Weekly, the Step Up star is a “family man” and is “very connected” to his 11-year-old daughter Everly, whom he shares with ex-wife Jenna Dewan.

“They looked at the bigger picture long term and realized they might not be right for each other,” the source said.

Although there is “still love” between them, they “realized in the long run that it wasn’t going to work out.”

While the actress was filming Darren Aronofsky’s new film “Caught Stealing” in New York, Tatum was in North Carolina filming his upcoming crime film “Bloodman.”

On Wednesday, the “Magic Mike” star posted several photos from the set on his Instagram to avoid his split from Kravitz.

“Just broke out of jail and ended up at Toys R Us… how was your day,” he captioned photos taken at his favorite toy store. “Hehe #ROOFMAN is dirty and tired but still the guy from Toys R Us.”
