CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson men’s and women’s cross country teams will compete in the 2024 ACC Cross Country Championships on Friday, Nov. 1, at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary. The men’s 8K championship will begin at 9:40 a.m. ET and the women’s 6K championship will begin at 10:30 a.m. ET.

On the women’s side, the Tigers had a strong season with freshman Sylvia Jelelgo finishing in the top three in all four events she competed in. Following Jelelgo, Judy Kosgei also placed in the top three in the three competitions she competed. run this season.

On the men’s side, senior Sawyer Dagan shined, earning two top-five finishes this season, and he will look to be named All-ACC for the second year in a row. Gladys Chepngetich will also be looking to earn All-ACC honors for the second straight season as the 2023 ACC Cross Country Freshman of the Year is set to compete in her second ACC Cross Country Championships.
