Wednesday’s Child – Carter

Wednesday’s Child – Carter

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – This week’s Wednesday’s Child is all about helping people grow up.

But until then, he himself needs help in the form of an eternal family. Here’s Laurie Hutchinson with Carter.

The firehouse is a good place for Carter. This 11 year old loves to talk about firefighters and all first responders: police officers, paramedics, coast guard and all the military. He lights up when you talk about them. He loves what they do and the sounds their cars make.

Carter also loves meeting new people. He is a friendly person who enjoys interacting with others, shaking hands and sharing his interests.

Once he gets to know you, you will laugh at his great sense of humor. And as soon as he trusts you, you can sit next to him and just hold hands. He’s such an amazing kid.

What could make Carter even better is taken into account. He will do well in a family that can offer a stable daily routine and endless love. Above all, someone with a burning desire to make them part of the family and provide a loving place to call home.

If you can give a child a family of their own, call Adopt Kansas Kids at 855-236-7857 or visit takekskids.org. They also represent children on the Adopt Kansas Kids Facebook page. They have photos and biographies of all the children and ways to take the first step toward giving your child a place to call home.
