In the NBA, the dunk can be a relatively common occurrence. Especially considering that highly paid and talented specialists rarely miss them.

However, Wednesday was one of those rare occasions when a pro actually missed a dunk—or did he?

Ja Morant of the Memphis Grizzlies had a clear opportunity to score on a breakaway, but surprisingly, when he attempted a reverse dunk, the ball went through the hoop but seemed to bounce off the top of his head and back out. The basket ultimately did not count.
