Olivia Rodrigo was hospitalized after falling off stage during a Melbourne Guts concert

US superstar Olivia Rodrigo has revealed she was rushed to hospital and felt like her dead grandfather was “watching over me” after falling into a pit on stage in Melbourne.

Rodrigo brought her Guts world tour to Melbourne last month, performing four shows at the city’s Rod Laver Arena.

Vampire The 21-year-old singer sent a crowd of about 14,000 into a frenzy on her final night on Oct. 14 when she suddenly fell onto the stage, causing many to gasp in shock.

In footage shared by concertgoers, Rodrigo energetically ran across the stage before suddenly disappearing through a trapdoor in the floor that appeared to have been accidentally left open.

Rodrigo quickly regrouped, managed to stay on the edge of the stage and climb back up. She seemed slightly shocked as she confirmed she was “fine.”
