Patience is over! – Red Bull: Horner announces Perez’s decision

The fiasco in his native Mexico likely tipped the scales. Sergio “Checo” Perez’s run at Red Bull is nearing the end. “If you don’t succeed, you will be in the spotlight,” explains team boss Christian Horner, who has always supported Perez. The Bulls’ patience with Perez may have run out as they slip back to third in the teams’ championship behind McLaren and now Ferrari. “We can forget about this title,” says an exasperated Horner.
