Western Australia Premier Roger Cook says the Albana government’s policies are being shaped by the ‘poison’ passing through Canberra

Western Australian Premier Roger Cook says he would rather see the Albana government’s nature-enhancing reforms fail outright than watch environmental policy shaped by the “poison” flowing through Canberra.

Addressing the state’s mining industry on Tuesday afternoon, Mr Cook boasted that the WA government was “hunting in packs” with miners to force the federal government to abandon its signature environmental policies adopted earlier this year.
