The Eagles veteran suffered an injury that ended his season and possibly his career.

Eagles cornerback Brandon Graham is 36 years old and has played 206 games in the league, but he didn’t look like it when he played in Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams. However, it appears that Graham’s availability on the sidelines is in doubt as he has not only been ruled out for the game, but for the entire season.

In the fourth quarter, Graham was seen on the sideline being attended to by trainers who looked at his elbow after a Rams running back chip blocked his attempt to rush the passer. What’s concerning is that before he was ejected from the game, several players, including quarterback Jalen Hurts, reportedly approached Graham and said a few words before heading back to the locker room.

After the game, Graham shared his prediction that it will change the way the team passes.

“I took a hit late in the game and tore my triceps,” Graham said in the locker room during an NBC Sports Philadelphia video broadcast. “Dude… Like I told the boys, a mission is still a mission. We put everything we can into this game. When I say I trust God, I trust God. I’m just enjoying myself and I’m going to enjoy this little bit of rehab and I’m going to enjoy leading this team for the rest of the year and as soon as I can get back out there I’ll be back. there”.

Graham, who had been contemplating whether this would be his last year in the game before the season began, saying he was going on a retirement tour, said it was too early to decide whether he would finish playing and that he was only focused on help the team until the end of the season.

“Anyway, if I was going to quit the game, I’m happy with the way I played today,” Graham said. “I couldn’t ask for anything else. With Huff gone, linebacker Jalyx Hunt is expected to have an increased workload. Hunt, a third-round pick in this year’s draft, started on special teams but saw increased time on defense ahead of Huff during games against the Jaguars and Dallas Cowboys. However, Hunt did not play on defense in Thursday’s win over the Washington Commanders. Hunt was expected to be a developing player as he continues to explore more of the edge rusher position after starting his college career as a defensive back. However, his quickness with offensive linemen has been noticeable in his limited time on the field: Hunt has a sack and three tackles this season.
