Watch: UAE National Day celebrations begin in Sharjah with a military parade – News

Large crowds of residents attended a festive parade organized by Sharjah Police to mark the 53rd UAE National Day or Eid Al Etihad on the northern coast of Dibba Al Hisn.

The event, held in collaboration with the Sharjah Police Academy, began with a military parade with the participation of personnel from the Sharjah Police Headquarters, the Amiri Guard General Command, students from the Sharjah Police Academy and the Sharjah Civil Defense Department.

The personnel demonstrated their skills in marching and field exercises, accompanied by the academy’s military band.

This demonstration was followed by a procession displaying various vehicles and equipment belonging to the emirate’s security forces. The vehicles on display are equipped with advanced systems and technologies for police and security missions, rapid response and firefighting. Watch the full video below:

Sharjah has promised an exciting series of celebrations and entertainment for residents and visitors to mark the country’s National Day. The Union Day Celebration Committee recently announced that the four-day celebrations will be held from November 21 to December 2.

At the national level, Al Ain will host this year’s UAE National Day celebrations, its organizing committee recently announced.

The official ceremony will take place “against the breathtaking natural backdrop of Al Ain, a city deeply loved by the people of the UAE,” the committee said.

UAE residents will be able to watch the National Day 2024 celebrations live on December 2 on local TV channels, cinemas and selected public places. Viewing locations across the Emirates will be announced shortly.
