Notre Dame fans react to Army win and recent chaos in college football

Notre Dame charges ahead early and never looks back.

Notre Dame wasted no time in New York, outscoring Army 14-0 early in the first quarter. From that point on, the Irish seemed to be firmly in control of this game and never looked back.

Postgame showgoers were delighted with another carefree victory that extended Notre Dame’s winning streak to nine straight games.

Callers were quick to point out that the Irish defense was flying around the field all night and landing some powerful hits on the Army forwards. Irish fans are also starting to understand what this Notre Dame offense is becoming.

Between the power of the running game with Riley Leonard making everything flow smoothly and the passing game on an above-average night, fans agree that this team is developing at just the right time.

Notre Dame received help from around the country

Notre Dame fans would have been happy with just a big Irish win, and the icing on the cake was the carnage that occurred across the country in other contenders’ games.

Indiana, Ole Miss, BYU and Alabama lost. This will certainly shake up the CFP rankings on Tuesday and help strengthen Notre Dame in this area.

Irish fans can now see light at the end of the tunnel. They know that with one more win, Notre Dame will make the playoffs and likely play a home game. Fans also know that it’s dangerous to look too far ahead when the dangerous Trojans are always on the line.
