For fans of Vince Gilligan’s AMC crime drama: Breaking BadNothing captures the Heisenberg saga better than the penultimate episode of the series – Ozymandias. An epic shootout in the desert accelerates the downfall of the main character, Walter White, whose end seems closer by the minute.

In this episode, Bryan Cranston’s character becomes increasingly manic and slides into a grave of his own making. Last three episodes Breaking Bad provide viewers with an unrivaled viewing experience. Unforgettable storyline Ozymandias – rated 10/10 on IMDb – stands out as one of the best in terms of emotional intensity, acting, dialogue and cinematography.

The only episode of television that comes close to challenging the ultimate perfectionism Ozymandias is Soprano season 5 episode, Long-Term Parkingwhich has a rating of 9.7 out of 10 on IMDb. The storyline of this episode of the HBO series is widely considered one of the greatest storylines of all time. Soprano stands proudly at the pinnacle of entertainment television.

Long-Term Parking beats Ozymandias By a mile

The Sopranos features the most heartbreaking character death on television.

Soprano The Reddit community has been in a state of outrage for years due to the consequences that Long-Term Parking left on pop culture against obvious terror Ozymandiasthe highest rated episode of all time on television. When taken in context, the unnerving intensity Breaking Bad doesn’t come close to the chaotic, dysfunctional life of the New Jersey Mafia depicted in Soprano.

Perhaps that’s why Long-Term Parking stands out as an episode of the HBO series. While Tony Soprano and James Gandolfini’s company are mostly busy with their daily lives, sorting out their affairs, betrayals and power struggles, Breaking Bad takes Mr. Chips and sets off on an adventure that, by the end of the five-season arc, giddily transforms him into a full-fledged Scarface.

The difference in tones makes Long-Term Parking so sharp compared to Ozymandias. The latter storyline was always going to happen to Walter White sooner or later, given his moral decline in the series. But the Sopranos were never considered particularly evil, and their mafia status was only in name… until Silvio took Ade in his car into the woods.

The hype around Breaking Bad varies greatly from one fan to another, as the AMC crime drama represents one man’s fight against an unjust world. In this, Ozymandias is the culmination of this struggle and the lengths Walter White was willing to go to for survival and his family.

Long-Term Parking did not offer such a moral cushion and did not justify the moral bankruptcy of its protagonist. Adriana’s execution at the hands of her own family was the only way out for the mafioso’s wife, who dared to dream of a different life for once. The cold and calculated end of her life is what makes Long-Term Parking more frightening than Ozymandias in the long term.

Breaking Bad streaming on Netflix.

Soprano broadcast on Max.
