Eddie Jones latest: Doubts over Japan boss’s presence

Eddie Jones has put the finishing touches on Japan’s preparations for Sunday’s clash with England to allay concerns over his ability to attend the clash at Allianz Stadium.

Jones was forced to stand down from his media duties on Friday due to a cold, but a day later the Australian was present at Twickenham for his team’s final training session of the week.

The former England manager has come under scrutiny for his management style after publishing allegations against Harlequins midfielder Danny Care that he acted as a “tyrant” and “despot” during his seven years in charge.

“Despite England’s speed, we really want to be precise in attack. This is an aspect of the game that we would like to continue to develop.”
